Same shade of gray optical illusion


The squares marked A and B are the same shade of gray, yet they appear different. Click where it says “Read More” below to see the proof with your very own two eyes and self.By joining the squares marked A and B with two vertical stripes of the same shade of gray, it becomes apparent that both squares are the same.
This illusion was created by Edward H. Adelson, Professor of Vision Science at MIT. Use an image editing program with a eyedropper to see for yourself.Link [via]
